It sure looks like OnePlus has something to announce.
OnePlus CEO Pete Lau today posted a tweet that reads "Who's ready for something new from OnePlus?" along with the hashtag #NewBeginnings. Lau also included an image of the OnePlus logo in blue, which is different than the white and red color scheme the company typically uses.
OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei got in on the teases, too, tweeting that "It's time to rock the boat again..." Pei included the same #NewBeginnings hashtag in his tweet.

It's possible that Lau and Pei are teasing the upcoming announcement of the OnePlus Z/OnePlus Nord. Rumors have said that the lower-cost OnePlus phone could launch in July, and so an official reveal could be coming soon.
The OnePlus Z or Nord is expected to be more affordable than the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro flagships. It may include a Snapdragon 765 processor with 5G support, 6.55-inch display with 90Hz refresh rate, a triple rear camera array, and a 4300mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. Pricing is rumored to be around ₹24,990 or $331 USD.
