Remember when YouTube TV confirmed that it'd be adding PBS stations? Fast-forward five months and the launch has officially happened.
PBS and PBS Kids are now available on YouTube TV. That includes more than 100 PBS member stations, with more launch in 2020, YouTube TV subscribers are getting dedicated live channels for both PBS and PBS Kids as well as on-demand programming.
Also arriving on YouTube TV today is OWN, the Oprah Winfrey Network, which is available nationwide.
It's always good to see streaming TV services gain new channels and get better at replacing their traditional cable counterparts. These are two big additions to YouTube TV's lineup, with PBS bringing shows like Antiques Roadshow along with lots of kids content that's sure to make parents happy. And then there's OWN, a network from Oprah Winfrey, who's one of the best known names in entertainment.
