A few months ago, Amazon and Google finally agreed to a truce in their feud which brought the official YouTube app back onto Amazon's Fire TV devices nearly two years after Google pulled them. Now we're seeing some more good come of the Amazon-Google partnership.
YouTube TV is now available on Fire TV devices. This includes the Fire TV Stick (2nd Gen), Fire TV Stick 4K, Fire TV Cube, Fire TV (2nd and 3rd Gen) and Fire TV Edition Smart TVs from Toshiba, Insignia, Element, and Westinghouse.
The YouTube TV app is not compatible with the Fire TV Stick (1st Gen) and Fire TV (1st Gen).
YouTube TV is the streaming television service from YouTube. It offers more than 70 channels including ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC, ESPN, CNN, FS1, Food Network, and HGTV. Also included is unlimited storage space to record shows, up to six accounts with personalized recommendations, and up to three simultaneous streams. YouTube TV is priced at $49.99.
