PlayStation Vue may be shutting down later this month, but PlayStation 4 owners are getting a new video streaming service to replace it today.
YouTube TV is now available on the PS4. You can download the app from the PlayStation Store and begin watching right now.
With YouTube TV, you can watch live TV from more than 70 channels, including ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, ESPN, CNN, Fox Sports, HGTV, AMC, NBC Sports, and many more. Priced at $49.99 per month, each subscription gets you up to six accounts, each with personalized recommendations, plus three simultaneous streams. You also get a cloud DVR with unlimited storage space for saving shows to watch later.
YouTube TV was already available on a wide variety of platforms before today, including the Xbox One, but it's good to see the PlayStation 4 finally support Google's streaming TV service, too. Now that PlayStation Vue is shutting down, there are probably many PS4 owners looking for a new video service, and YouTube TV is an option.
