Verizon already includes free Apple Music with its unlimited plans, and soon those plans are going to get another big freebie.
Starting November 12th, Verizon will give 12 months of free Disney+ to all new and existing 4G LTE and 5G customers with an unlimited plan. The offer will also be available to new Fios Home Internet and 5G Home Internet customers.
Disney+ launches on November 12th, so eligible Verizon customers will be able to get the service for free starting on day one.
When it launches next month, Disney+ will normally cost $6.99 per month. The service will include movies and shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and National Geographic, as well as all 30 seasons of The Simpsons and all Star Wars films. Disney is working on original content for the service, too, including more than 25 original series and 10 original films in the first year of Disney+.
Disney+ will be available for streaming on a variety of devices at launch. Those include iPhone, iPad, and Android devices as well as Apple TV, Android TV, Roku devices, Chromecast, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
