The LG G8X ThinQ is making its way to the U.S.
LG says that the G8X ThinQ will launch in the U.S. on November 1st at carriers like AT&T and Sprint as well as retailers such as Amazon. Pre-orders begin October 25th. The LG G8X ThinQ will cost $699.99 unlocked with an LG Dual Screen accessory, but with available promos, the price could fall to as low as $300.
The spec list for the LG G8X ThinQ includes a 6.4-inch 2340x1080 OLED display, Snapdragon 855 processor, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of built-in storage, along with a microSD card slot. There's an in-display fingerprint sensor included, too, along with stereo speakers, a dedicated Google Assistant key, a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC, IP68 water and dust resistance, and a 4000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.
The dual rear camera setup on the LG G8X includes a 12MP main cam with f/1.8 aperture and a 13MP super wide angle snapper with 132-degree field of view. LG has also included features like Night View and Portrait Mode. Around front there's a 32MP selfie cam living inside the G8X's notch.
Meanwhile, the LG Dual Screen accessory gives the LG G8X ThinQ a second 6.4-inch 2340x1080 OLED screen. It's got a hinge that can lock into any angle, letting you use it like a game controller, a stand, or flipped all the way around to the back. There's also a 2.1-inch monochrome display on the cover of the LG Dual Screen accessory that can show the time, date, battery level, and notifications.
