After it was first announced earlier this year, Apple Arcade today got its official launch and pricing information.

Apple Arcade will launch on September 19. It'll be available in more than 150 countries at that time, and Apple promises that there will be more than 100 games in its catalog to start.

When it comes to pricing, Apple Arcade will cost $4.99 per month for the family. Apple plans to offer a one-month free trial to let you try before you buy.

Apple Arcade will let you download and play any game included in the service for no charge. That means there's no ads or in-app purchases. It'll be available on iOS, macOS, and tvOS, and Apple says that your progress will sync across platforms. What's more, you'll be able to play offline, meaning you can game while you're on an airplane or somewhere without an internet connection.
