Samsung today launched a new initiative aimed at helping you get more use out of Bixby.
The Bixby Marketplace is now live in the U.S. and Korea. You can use the store to download "capsules" to add third-party services like Google Maps, Spotify, iHeartRadio, NPR, and Yelp. To help you find capsules to add to Bixby, there are categories like Productivity, Communication, Games and fun, Photography, and more, as well as curated staff picks.
You're also able to set up a "preferred capsule" for some requests. Like if you ask Bixby for a ride somewhere and you have multiple Rideshare capsules, Bixby will ask you to pick one service. That will then be set as your preferred Rideshare capsule that'll automatically be used for future Rideshare requests.
The goal of the Bixby Marketplace is to help you easily power up your Bixby voice assistant and make it better to use. If you've got a Samsung Galaxy phone with Bixby, you can access the Bixby Marketplace by launching Bixby and then swiping left.
