Samsung Galaxy S10 owners, your shiny new smartphone is now getting a software update.
Samsung today released updates for the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10e. The update includes the March 1, 2019 Android security patches along with improved stability for the Camera app and improved performance for the Wireless PowerShare feature.
The new update is version G973FXXU1ASC8 for the Galaxy S10, version G975FXXU1ASC8 for the Galaxy S10+, and version G970FXXU1ASC8 for the Galaxy S10e. The update appears to be rolling out in the U.K. and Germany right now, but we'll hopefully see it in other parts of the globe soon. If you've got an S10, S10+, or S10e, you can check for your update by going into Settings > Software update > Download updates manually.
This looks like a nice little update for the Galaxy S10 phones. There may not be any showstopping new features for S10 owners to play with, but they are getting the latest Android security patches along with improvements to two important features. Improved stability of the Camera app is especially welcome since many folks likely use their phone's camera as their primary snapper.
