Apple's stream of new services continues with Apple Arcade.
As its name suggests, Apple Arcade is a way to play video games on your Apple devices. The subscription service will give you access to more than 100 new and exclusive games, and you'll be able to download and play any of them. Games available through Apple Arcade will include titles from Annapurna Interactive, Bossa Studios, Cartoon Network, Finji, Giant Squid, Klei Entertainment, Konami, LEGO, Mistwalker Corporation, SEGA, Snowman, ustwo games, and more.
Games will be available on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV, and Apple says that your progress will sync across platforms. What's more, Apple Arcade games will be playable offline so that you can play even when you're on an airplane and need some entertainment. There will be no ads or additional purchases required.
Apple Arcade is coming this fall and it'll be available in more than 150 countries. You'll find it in a new tab in the App Store on iOS, macOS, and tvOS. No pricing details are available.
