Fitbit is one of the major players in the wearables market, having released many fitness trackers in recent years. Today Fitbit added four more wearables to its roster.
The Fitbit Versa Lite Edition, Fitbit Inspire, Fitbit Inspire HR, and Fitbit Ace 2 are now official. As its name suggests, the Fitbit Versa Lite Edition (above) is a more affordable version of the Fitbit Versa. It's got many of the same features as the standard Versa, like step and sleep tracking, 24/7 heart rate monitoring, more than 15 execise modes, real-time pace and distance tracking, and female health tracking. It also supports smartphone notifications and apps. All of those features are crammed into a swimproof body.
With the Fitbit Versa Lite Edition, you do miss out on tracking your floors climbed and swim laps, as well as the ability to store music and get workouts on your wrist with Fitbit Coach. The Fitbit Versa Lite Edition is a good bit cheaper than the Fitbit Versa, though, coming in at $159.95 compared to the Versa's $199.95 price tag.
Also announced today are the Fitbit Inspire and Inspire HR. These trackers offer a slimmer design along with a touchscreen, backlit display, and on-screen dashboard to help you track activity and sleep. They both offer automatic exercise recognition to help you track your workouts and they can show notifications from your smartphone when it's nearby. Both models are swimproof as well.
The Fitbit Inspire is priced at $69.95. The Fitbit Inspire HR adds 24/7 heart rate tracking, connected GPS, and more than 15 goal-based exercise modes, and it's available for $99.95.
Finally, the Fitbit Ace 2 is a tracker aimed at children ages 6 and up. It's got a new swimproof design and a bumper to help protect the screen. Included is step tracking and activity recording, up to five days of battery life, and animated clock faces. Fitbit has also included parental controls, like a Parent View to let adults see their kids activity and approve connections.
The Fitbit Ace 2 is launching this summer for $69.95.
