Verizon’s tablet lineup currently includes some iPad models, a few Galaxy Tabs from Samsung, and Verizon’s own Ellipsis slates. And soon, it could include an ASUS tablet, too.
The ASUS ZenPad Z8 for Verizon has leaked out. The image shared by Evan Blass shows a tablet with Verizon branding on its face as well as an 8-inch 2048x1536 display, 8-megapixel rear and 1.8-megapixel front cameras, 16GB of storage, and a microSD slot for adding more storage. Also said to be included is a hexa-core Snapdragon 650 processor and 2GB of RAM.

While we can’t see the back of this ZenPad Z8, the front is kind of reminiscent of HTC’s Nexus 9. It even looks to have speakers at the top and bottom of its face, just like the N9, which could make the ZenPad Z8 a nice option for watching videos.
There’s no word on when the ZenPad Z8 might launch or how much it might cost when it does. Its rumored spec list is fairly mid-range, though, and so it shouldn’t be too hard on buyers’ wallets.
