We’ve got some good news and some bad news. First, the good news is that Samsung today introduced two new metal-bodied Android phones.

First up is the Samsung Galaxy C5, an Android smartphone with a 5.2-inch 1920x1080 Super AMOLED display, 8-megapixel camera, and fingerprint reader on its face and a 16-megapixel camera around back. Inside of the C5’s metal shell lives an octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor, 32GB/64GB of storage, a microSD slot for adding more storage, 4GB of RAM, and NFC. Powering the whole package is a 2600mAh battery.

The Galaxy C7 bumps up a few of the C5’s features, like offering a larger 5.7-inch 1920x1080 Super AMOLED display, octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor, and a beefier 3300mAh battery. Other specs remain the same between the two phones, meaning that the C7’s got 16-megapixel rear and 8-megapixel front cameras, 32/64GB of storage, a microSD slot, and 4GB of RAM.

Now for the bad news: These new Galaxy C5 and C7 phones are launching in China, and it’s unclear when or if they’ll make their way outside of the country. If you do stumble upon either of them, expect pricing for the C5 to be start at 2,199 yuan ($335 USD), while the C7 will start at 2,599 yuan ($396 USD).
