If you’re lucky enough to have a shiny new Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 edge on Verizon, then keep an eye out, because an update is coming your way.
Verizon is pushing updates to both its GS7 and GS7 edge that offer improved Wi-Fi connectivity. That includes fixes for problems connecting to the internet, frequent data disconnections, and issues while loading files or web pages.
Today’s updates will bring the Galaxy S7 up to software version MMB29M.G930VVRU2APB5, while the Galaxy S7 edge will be bumped up to MMB29M.G935VVRU2APB5. They’re rolling out over the air, but if you’d like to check for your device’s update manually, you can go into Settings > About phone > Software updates > Check for Updates.
These updates may not be the most exciting things ever, but hey, you’re probably going to spend a lot of time on Wi-Fi, so you’re going to want it to work well. So if you’ve got a Galaxy S7 or S7 edge on Verizon, you should keep an eye out for your device’s update.
