Less than a week after announcing Mobile Without Borders, T-Mobile has revealed a new Un-carrier Amped family plan to go along with it.
T-Mobile’s new family plan offers two lines with 10GB of 4G LTE each for $100 per month. Both lines get access to all of the regular Un-carrier add-ons, like Music Freedom, Data Stash, and Mobile Without Borders, as well as unlimited talk, text, and data. Each line can use its 10GB of high-speed data for tethering, and if you've got lines that need more than 10GB, you can bump that allotment up to 20GB of 4G LTE data for an additional $10 per month per line.
If you’d like to add more lines to the family plan after two, you can do so at a rate of $30 each. Each additional line will get its own 10GB of data, too. And to celebrate the launch of this new plan, you can add a fourth line to this new family plan for free if you do it before Labor Day on September 7.
This new plan seems similar to T-Mobile’s past promo family plans, but a couple of changes have been made. For example, T-Mo used to offer two lines with unlimited 4G LTE data, but now users get 10GB of data apiece in exchange for having Mobile Without Borders built-in. If you don’t want to switch to this new plan, you can always add Mobile Without Borders to your existing plan for $10 per month.
T-Mobile’s new family plan launches on July 15, and it'll be available in-stores and through telesales at launch, with online availability to arrive in the coming weeks. Are you going to sign up?
