It’s been nearly one year since the debut of Samsung’s high-end Galaxy Tab S tablets, and in the world of mobile, that means that it’s about time for a refresh.
A new image has leaked that claims to show the “Galaxy Tab S2.” The tablet is said to have a 9.7-inch display with a body that may measure around 5.8 or 5.9mm thick. The Galaxy Tab S2 has a flat front and flat sides, and overall the design is a bit reminiscent of the Galaxy S6. No spec details for the Galaxy Tab S2 were included in this image leak.
The Galaxy Tab S tablets are Samsung’s flagship Android slates, offering displays with 2560x1440 resolutions, fingerprint readers, 3GB of RAM, and beefy processors. While we don’t yet know what kind of specs the Galaxy Tab S2 will offer, it seems likely that Samsung will spec it similarly. With the original Galaxy Tab S models having debuted in mid-June, expect Samsung to introduce updated models in the near future.
