After giving Rollover Data to its postpaid customers earlier this year, AT&T is now treating its prepaid users the same feature.
Starting May 15, AT&T GoPhone customers on the $45 and $60 plans will get Rollover Data included for no extra charge. As the feature’s name suggests, Rollover Data will let GoPhone customers roll their unused high-speed data from one month into the next month’s allotment. Just like the postpaid version of Rollover Data that launched earlier this year, GoPhone Rollover Data will be good for 30 days.
Rollover Data is the new, 2015 equivalent of the rollover minutes feature that was around years ago. Now data is much more important than minutes in our smartphone-centric mobile world, though, and it’s good to see a rollover data feature rolling out after consumers have been clamoring for it for quite a while. Now AT&T prepaid customers can get Rollover Data of their own, making GoPhone an even more enticing option if you can afford to buy a phone without any sort of commitment or installments.
