The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus officially went up for pre-order this morning at 12:01 AM PT/3:01 AM ET, and while some sellers — *cough* Apple *cough* — didn’t begin sales until a bit later than that, you can now hand over money in exchange for a new iPhone model. But when will it ship? That depends on where you shop and which flavor you choose:
AT&T:
Sprint has acknowledged that its online shop is having “issues,” saying that the store will be back up soon.
So there’s the rundown on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus availability as of this writing. Obviously things will get pushed back further as the day goes on, but it looks like if you’re after an iPhone 6, you can still get a unit on launch day or shortly thereafter. The iPhone 6 Plus is a different matter, with availability being pushed into October.
It’s also worth noting that Apple has said that it’ll begin iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus sales in its retail stores on September 19 at 8:00 a.m., and I’m sure that carriers will open their doors at around the same time. If the model that you want isn’t available for launch day delivery now, you may want to try the in-store route next week.
So how many of you ordered an iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus today? If you did, which version did you snag?
