The LG G3 is still a fairly new device, having been introduced around a month and a half ago, but a new leak has shown that LG’s already got a mini version that’s nearly ready to go.
An image shared by @evleaks claims to reveal the “LG G3S,” which is described as an LG G3 mini. The image shows the outline of the device, so we can’t gather many details about it, but the overall design of the G3S appears to be fairly similar to the plain ol’ G3, complete with on-screen buttons.
Creating mini versions of flagship smartphones is a pretty big trend in the mobile world as of late, with HTC, Samsung, LG and more all crafting shrunken versions of their high-end handsets. LG did it with the G2 and G2 mini, and so it’s not terribly surprising to learn that it may be doing the same thing with the G3. Here’s to hoping that unlike the G2 and G2 mini, though, the G3S includes specs fairly close to those found in the G3.
