Google often releases updates for its Android apps on Wednesdays, but apparently that doesn’t apply to the company’s iOS apps. That’s good news for owners of Apple hardware, because it means that they get to enjoy a piping hot Google Search update today rather than having to wait until tomorrow.
Google today released an update to the iOS version of its Google Search app that bumps it up to version 4.0.0 and includes a number of improvements. Here’s the full changelog, straight from El Goog:

Android users have been enjoying some of these features in their version of Google Search for a while now, but this is still a welcome update to the iOS version of the app. There’s a nice mix of new features and performance enhancements, and so most anyone ought to be able to appreciate this Google Search update, regardless of how they use it.
