Time to follow up on a couple of devices that’ve been floating around the rumor mill recently!
First up is a new color variant of the HTC One (M8). At the tail end of March, we caught wind of an ad that teased an unannounced red version of HTC’s new flagship. Now @evleaks has chimed in on the device, claiming that a “Glamour Red” version of the One (M8) is headed for Verizon.
There’s no word on when the Glamour Red version of the HTC One (M8) might launch, but it’s no surprise that such a device is in the works. HTC offered a Glamour Red version of the HTC One (M7), and so it makes sense that the company would reuse that color with the One (M8) since it already knows how to manufacture it. It’s worth noting that the Glamour Red One (M7) was exclusive to Sprint in the U.S., so it’s interesting to hear that the red version of the One (M8) could be Verizon-bound.
The second device that we’re following up on today is the Nokia Monarch. Originally teased as a mysterious T-Mobile device back in March, @evleaks today shed a bit more light on this upcoming Windows Phone. According to the prolific leakster, the Monarch is T-Mobile’s version of the Lumia 635. T-Mo confirmed its plans to launch the Lumia 635 earlier this month, but so far the only availability details that it’s shared is that the device will be released later in 2014.
