It looks like Verizon customers may soon have a couple of different 4G LTE-enabled Samsung tablets available to them. Following a leak from earlier this month that showed a Big Red-bound version of the Galaxy Note Pro, a new image has revealed that a Verizon variant of the Galaxy Note 10.1 - 2014 Edition may be in the works as well.
The renders, shared by @evleaks, show a black version of the Galaxy Note 10.1 - 2014 Edition that looks fairly similar to the Wi-Fi-only mode that launched late in 2013. Of course, the one big different is that there's a big honkin' "Verizon 4G LTE" logo on the unit's backside. We can also see the Note 10.1 - 2014 Edition's S Pen stylus slotted into its home in the upper left corner of its backside.
As its name suggests, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 - 2014 Edition is a beefed up version of the original Galaxy Note 10.1. The device's display measures 10.1 inches and has a resolution of 2560x1600, which is quite a bump up from the Note 10.1's 1280x800 screen. Samsung has previously said that the LTE-enabled variant of the Note 10.1 - 2014 Edition will also pack a 2.3GHz quad-core processor, 8-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras and an 8220mAh battery powering the whole package.
Verizon launched an LTE-enabled variant of the original Note 10.1 in early 2013, so it seems appropriate that the big red carrier would also offer the upgraded 2014 Edition of Samsung's stylus-equipped slate. There's no word yet on when Verizon will actually begin selling this new Note 10.1 or how much it'll charge for the privilege of picking one up. However, Samsung is currently asking $499.99 and $549.99 for the 16GB and 32GB versions of the Wi-Fi-only Note 10.1 - 2014 Edition, and I wouldn't be surprised if the addition of LTE connectivity resulted in a $100 or so price premium for this Verizon model.
