Nokia has shown that it's not afraid to tease its future announcements, and today the Finnish firm has done it yet again. Nokia this morning took to its official Conversations blog to post the image you see above, teasing that it plans to announce "something new" at 7 a.m GMT (3 a.m. ET) on Wednesday, April 24. The big unveiling will be followed up by a question and answer session with Neil Broadley from Nokia's Mobile Phones division as well as a "special guest."
We'll have to wait until Wednesday to find out exactly what Nokia's got in store for us, but we can make an educated guess about the company's plans based on the image that it posted. It looks like whatever it's teasing features a physical keyboard, and the fact that an employee from Nokia's Mobile Phones arm will be taking questions suggests that this mystery device could be an Asha model rather than a Windows Phone-powered Lumia (part of Nokia's Smart Devices division).
The good news is that we don't have long to wait to find out exactly what Nokia has under its bright yellow hat, as this announcement of "something new" is going down in less than 48 hours. Do you consider a physical keyboard to be an important phone feature? Or are you perfectly content tapping away on the glass of a touchscreen?
