We may not know yet when Verizon and Nokia will announce the Lumia 928 or when it'll hit store shelves, but there's certainly been enough leaked images and information about the device to keep anyone that's excited occupied until an official introduction takes place. Those leaks continue this afternoon, as @evleaks has shared another early look at the white Lumia 928. Unlike the previous leak that just showed its backside, though, this new leak is similar to the one from earlier this morning in that it shows the front and sides of the device in addition to its rear.
As before, we can see a PureView-branded camera on the backside of this white Lumia 928 along with xenon and LED flashes, a Verizon 4G LTE logo and a large, oval speaker. The one new detail that the new images do reveal is that white Lumia 928 features a two-tone look with a white rear shell that wraps around to the sides and a black panel around front. That differs from the Lumia 920 on AT&T, which had a colored unibody shell that wrapped around to its front.
While neither Nokia nor Verizon have actually announced the Lumia 928, Nokia CEO Stephen Elop did mention during his company's Q1 2013 earnings call that that Nokia will introduce a new device later this quarter that will be given a "hero status" on a major U.S. carrier. Sounds an awful lot like the Lumia 928, no? The good news is that Verizon customers may not be waiting much longer for the 928's official unveiling, as recent rumors have suggested that an April debut is planned for the phone.
