Samsung has introduced several "Premium Suite" upgrades for its Galaxy devices in the past, and today the latest in that line of updates was revealed for the original Galaxy Note. A page on Samsung's website has detailed the new Premium Suite upgrade for the international Note, which will include a bump up to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and several other goodies. Owners of the OG Note can expect the typical Jelly Bean additions like Google Now and Project Butter as well as some Note-specific tweaks like Popup Note/Video/Browser and enhanced S Note capabilities. Also included in the Premium Suite update is Multi-Window, which allows a user to run two apps on-screen at the same time.
While the Jelly Bean update for the original Galaxy Note was teased by Samsung earlier this year, at that time the only thing that the company said about the new software was that it'd be coming "very soon." Today we've got more details on all of the goodies that Sammy will be packing into the Note's new Premium Suite, and it's good to see that the original Note is still getting some love in the form of another Premium Suite. The bad news here is that there's no mention of exactly when the update will begin rolling out to users. Here's to hoping that, now that it's official on Samsung's website, the update isn't too far out from making its way to the public and that U.S. Note owners won't have to wait too long to get their own slice of the update.
