Looks like Toshiba's Excite 7.7 isn't the only tablet from The Tosh that's getting treated to a Jelly Bean update. According to a report from Android Police, the Toshiba Excite 10 is also in the process of being updated to Android 4.1.1. The update is said to be rolling out in stages to both the AT300 and AT305 models, and there are some users in Toshiba's official support forums that are reporting that they have indeed received a Jelly Bean update. The official changelog for the update has yet to be discovered.
The Toshiba Excite 10 is being bumped up from Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with today's update, which means users will be gaining access to Google Now and its information cards as well as the smoother operation that Project Butter brings to the table. This is a pretty worthwhile update for Excite 10 owners, so if you count yourself as a member of that group, you may want to head into Settings > About Tablet > System Updates or access the Toshiba Service Station to check for the update as soon as possible. Be sure to give us a shout once the update hits your Excite 10 and we'll let you know once an official changelog becomes available, k?
