Planning on pre-ordering an iPhone 5 tomorrow? Well now you know exactly when to set your alarms, as Apple has confirmed to Wired the exact time that it'll begin accepting pre-orders. The company has said that online pre-orders will kick off tomorrow at 12:01 a.m. PT, which means that folks on the other side of the country will be able to start placing their orders at 3:01 a.m. ET. For those folks that prefer the brick and mortar method of buying things, the iPhone 5 will be available for purchase from Apple's stores on September 21 at 8:00 a.m. local time.
It's also worth noting that both Sprint and Verizon will begin the iPhone 5 pre-order process at around the same time as Apple, with Sprint starting at 12:01 a.m. PT and Verizon at 12:00 a.m. PT. AT&T has said that its pre-orders will also start on September 14, but hasn't mentioned an exact start time. It looks like those of you hoping to be one of the first on your block with the iPhone 5 will have several pre-order options available, so now you just have to decide whether you'll be waking up right when pre-orders begin or waiting until the morning and seeing if your preferred model is still available. The iPhone 5 will be priced at $199 for the 16GB model, $299 for the 32GB version of $399 for the 64GB variant. Which of you are planning on pre-ordering? If you are, which color, carrier and capacity will you be going with?
