A new HTC device has just made its way through the FCC, and so long as the rumors surrounding it hold true, it could be a handset that AT&T Android fans want to keep an eye on. The device in the FCC filing is the HTC PM63100, a phone that we've seen pop up in a couple of benchmarks in the past. There aren't many hard details about the PM63100 contained in the FCC's documents, but they do show that the device features LTE bands that play nice with AT&T (bands 4 and 17) as well as a couple of others (bands 2 and 5) and the usual GSM/WCDMA support.

According to the rumor mill, the HTC PM63100 could be the HTC One X+, a successor to the One X with a 1.6 GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 1280x720 screen resolution, 32GB storage, 1GB RAM, 1,800mAh battery and Android 4.1. Unfortunately for those AT&T folk interested in the PM63100/One X+, there's been no mention of exactly when the device will be hitting store shelves. It's at least one step closer to doing so now that it's passed through the FCC, though, so at least interested AT&T customers can take comfort in that fact. It'll definitely be interesting to see what else HTC has in store for a One X follow-up, so here's to hoping that a launch on the big blue carrier isn't too far off. Stay tuned.
