The update to Jelly Bean on the global version of the Galaxy Nexus continues to keep this device at the top of the charts. So because of that we feature a Samsung Galaxy Nexus global user review by PhoneDog fan Andy Wu on this Thursday September 13, 2012.
"Galaxy Nexus great phone, great price" By Andy Wu on September 12, 2012
Display: Amazing super amoled plus hd 1280x720 if i recall right. Amazing destroys most phones out there. great outdoor viewing and great to save battery due to the blacks being 'dead' allowing to save battery if you use black backgrounds and etc etc.
reception @ call quality: It works nothing special, speaker does well enough, not bad, not great.
Battery life: I can manage to get through a day with moderate use. Extra battery costs what 20 bucks? replace it on those 'heavy days' and therefore, battery life have never been an issue.
design/form factor: Love and hate it. slim light and beautiful but at the same time 'plasticy' but it feels good, curvature does work for phone calls. sometimes feels 'too thin' but overall good not great samsung still holding onto their 'plasticy' laurels
apps+media: camera is average at best but its fast so not the worst camera but not anywhAere near the quality of the new beasts of cellphones ie htc one x or samsung galaxy siii. Googly play music great for music sync. play store is great so it does well.
