Got your eye on the iPhone 5, but you're not really feeling any of the three major U.S. carriers that'll offer it on September 21? If you're willing to wait a week later, you'll have a couple of other options. Both C Spire Wireless and Cricket have announced that they'll be offering the iPhone 5 starting September 28. However, neither carrier has offered any details on pricing.
C Spire and Cricket currently offer the iPhone 4S and iPhone 4, but they both had to wait a while after the handset's initial launch (around a month for C Spire, while Cricket's just debuted in June) before they began offering their own models. It's good to see that they'll be getting the iPhone 5 much sooner, especially since the its arrival on Cricket will give the pre-paid crowd the opportunity to pick up Apple's new handset just a week after its launch on AT&T, Sprint and Verizon. As usual, we'll update you with more details on these launches as we get 'em. You can find each carrier's press release at the C Spire and Cricket links below.
