Remember the Samsung Galaxy Prevail? You know, that little Android-powered device that'll likely be officially unveiled this Tuesday? Yeah, that one. It seems that more info on the Prevail has been leaked out, courtesy of a Sprint Prepaid Group document sent over to the folks at Engadget. There's still no word on exactly when Boost Mobile will actually be launching it's newest Android phone, but when it does arrive, it'll be packing a 3.2-inch display, 2 megapixel camera, and a $179.99 price tag. Other details are still scarce, but we have heard that it'll come loaded with Froyo out of the box.
The last time we saw the Galaxy Prevail, we speculated that it was likely going to be more of a low-end device, and this leak has done a lot to confirm our suspicions. Still, if it does end up coming to market with a stock (or close to) build of Froyo like the leaked images have suggested, the Prevail could be a decent choice for a Boost customer in the market for a new handset, especially compared to the carrier's other Android offering. We should be learning more on Tuesday, so be sure to stay tuned.
