HTC's been pretty quiet about the ThunderBolt's launch date so far, save for a random tweet from one of the company's reps, but today the company took to their Facebook page to comment on the situation. Unfortunately, they didn't feel like giving up the official release date just yet, but they did say that an announcement will be coming "soon." The full statement from HTC:

"There is a lot of excitement about the first Verizon LTE device, the HTC ThunderBolt. HTC and Verizon will officially and publicly announce the Thunderbolt launch dates soon. Please stay tuned for the debut of this great new device."

The next rumored ThunderBolt launch date is the 17th, aka next Thursday, and if it's true we should be hearing something official from Verizon on Tuesday or Wednesday. Of course, if it doesn't end up happening, March 21st is a possibility as well. And if neither of those dates end up panning out, well, I'm sure there'll be plenty more to take their place soon.
