Last week, we saw a couple of leaks and rumors claim that March 17th would finally, finally be the day that the HTC ThunderBolt is released. Today more evidence of the Thursday launch has come out in the form of some info leaked to the folks at Droid-Life as well as another TBolt-related tweet.
First up, there are reports that Best Buy is in the process of calling ThunderBolt pre-orderers, giving them an expected date of Mar. 17th. BBY also said that they'd call back later this week to set up appointments, though, meaning that they aren't totally sure that the launch is finally going down on Thusday.
Second, it appears that Verizon distribution centers are changing the ThunderBolt's status from "quantity on order" to "quantity in stock."
Finally, a Verizon location in Fishers, Ind. tweeted that they're "supposed to have the THUNDERBOLT on [their] shelves on the 17th."
There's no question that March 17th has the most evidence of any rumored ThunderBolt date so far but, considering how many other possible release dates we've heard so far, I wouldn't put too much stock in any date until it comes straight from Verizon's mouth. Over the weekend, HTC said that we'd be hearing an official announcement soon, so hopefully "soon" to them means some time tomorrow or Wednesday.
UPDATE: Engadget was just sent the document you see below, which proudly proclaims that the TBolt "will launch in All Channels on March 17, 2011!" We'll see.
