There's been a lot of rumors flying lately about the Motorola DROID X's follow-up, but today we finally get to see alleged photos of the follow-up to Moto's 4.3-inch beast. The folks over at The Mobi Zone claim to have gotten their hands on a handful of photos of the DROID X2 and, well, it looks a lot like the original DROID X. The only change we can see is that Moto decided to remove the physical camera button, which is kind of a disappointment. The site also got a list of specs for the device, although they're not terribly different from what we've heard in the past. The full list is as follows:

• 1GHz dual-core Tegra 2 processor
• 4.3-inch qHD (960x540) display
• 1GB RAM
• 8 megapixel camera
• 3G connectivity (No LTE)
• Android 2.2, although an update to Gingerbread before launch is possible
• New MOTOBLUR skin
• Possible Q2 2011 launch

I'm kind of surprised that Moto didn't bother to change up the DROID X2's look at all, and the removal of the dedicated camera button is kind of sad. It may not seem like a big feature, but a physical camera key is pretty nice to have on a smartphone, especially since fewer and fewer handsets are launching with one. The good news is that Moto is making quite a few important upgrades on the X2's inside to help keep it competitive, which I suppose is what really matters. So, what do you all think?
