Along with the Samsung Cetus, which we also saw today, the LG E900 has to be one of the most-leaked Windows Phone 7 handsets to date. Today we're taking a long, hard look at the E900 with a 20 minute video detailing just about every part of the phone imaginable. One of the most interesting aspects of the video is that our Czech friends that posted the video refer to the E900 as the Optimus 7. I would suggest LG is going with the Optimus title for its new smartphones, but Verizon's version of the Optimus One has a leaked name of Vortex. That may just be an isolated incident, I suppose, as a recently leaked T-Mobile handset has been called the LG Optimus. Who knows?
Going back to the E900/Optimus 7, I'd say it looks like a pretty slick handset, especially the fancy-looking camera on the back. I'm not sure if I prefer the E900 or its keyboarded brother, the C900, but either seems like a good way to go. Whenever those two handsets come out, though, LG's smartphones will be facing some stiff competition from Samsung, HTC, and other manufacturers. Windows Phone 7 is set to debut next month, and I don't think I could be any more excited. What do all of you think about the impending WP7 launch? Are you excited? Too busy dreaming about your new G2 to think about it? Let us know!
