The good: Extremely durable, Wonderful sound quality, easy to use menu
The bad: Side buttons poorly laid out, needs brighter display
Summary: Im VERY hard on my phones. I manage an oil change facility so it gets busy and crowded. I have dropped my phone more times than I can count and it's still goin. Better than the LG I replaced. I use the speaker phone option quite a bit and Im impressed withy how loud and clear it is.

On the downside however, the display can be rather hard to see in direct daylight. Also, I find myself often triggering the PTT function. The outer buttons need a better way of loking than what it has.
The good: Easy grip! Good reception!
The bad: My third one in 6 months! All defective!! My prior phone - a Motorola lasted 3 years - until I dropped it and it broke.
Summary: If this 3rd one breaks before 6 months - I am giving up with Nokia!
The good: Excellent scree, nice volume on everything MP3 player, bluetooth and very usable
The bad: Can only download ringtones on T-zones
Summary: I bought this phone for the screen, bluetooth and MP3 player and I think this ia a very nice phone. big big big hint!!!!If you want to have excellant battery life that I have with this phone please let it charge fully and also drain fullat at least 3 or 4 times and you wont have any problems
The good: Extensive phone book that is easy to enter data into. Really clear quality. Inexpensive (I paid $39.95) Small simple phone. Gets the job done.
The bad: Not very many ring tones. Doesn't ring and vibrate at the same time... it vibrates for the first few rings then rings twice without vibrating. Can't use the callander as a wallpaper. volume buttons won't illuminate front display. The menu setup is a tad complicated as you cant get to all features through the menu feature, you must access certain options through other functions instead of having it all accessable through the main menu
Summary: Overall for the price I would say it is a good phone if you're not looking for a feature rich unit. I used to have a Samsung SPH-A620 and loved it, it was the most durable phone I ever owned! The Samsung SGH-X506/507 hardly compares to it but it is also was less than 1/2 the price.
The good: Small
Cheap
Looks good

The bad: Bad Reception
Summary: This is a nice phone for first time phone users. I really like it since it's nice and small. It was very easy to setup. I would highly recommend this
The good: -Inexpensive (with Cingular's service rebated: $65)
-Comes with free Sony Ericsson external speakers
-Comes with free 1G Memory Stick (Cingular)
-Vivid, colorful screen
-Great sound quality MP3 player with equilizer
-Easy to use dedicated "Walkman" button feature
-2.0 Mega pixel camera (higher than most other phones)
-Super bright LED camera flash that doubles as flashlight.
-Easy to remove memory stick
-Better than average battery life
-Sony offers FREE ring tone,
The bad: -Easy to scratch screen
-No cover to protect camera lens
-No cover to protect dust from external speaker
-Small buttons
-Does not allow you to set MP3 songs as ring tones
-When dropped, easy to damage the screen/camera lens.
-When uploading/playing music it can tend to get glitchy and freeze for a second or two.
-Charger prongs seem easy to break off/damage.
Summary: The pros and cons pretty much covered it.
With Cingular's service I got a great deal on the phone. Besides it being a great deal, the phone is great...works great as a phone. The Walkman feature can be glitchy from time to time, but only when you upload a mass amount of songs at once, or when a song is playing and you are scrolling through the phone and doing other things like looking up numbers or playing games. Other than that the speaker is plenty loud for a tiny phone.

Being in the military, one thing I love are tactical gadgets. So when I found out that this phone had a camera flash that doubles at a super bright LED flashlight, I was sold. The flashlight also has a "S.O.S" feature where you can set it on S.O.S and it will blink in morse code a "help me" message. Also a cool tactical feature in case you are lost in the woods at night and a rescue team in a helicopter may be flying over head. The LED light is definetly bright enough to alert low flying aircraft. The flashlight is cool, but of course it drains battery life, but for those times that you may be in a dark movie theater and your drop your keys between the seats, the flashlight feature is pretty neat.

Sony offers a great service: free ring tone, theme, picture, and game downloads at their Sony Ericsson website.

The only thing I would highly recommend is as soon as you buy this phone, go on Ebay and find a durable case for it. I found an awesome silicon rubberized casing for it which protects it from damage, dust, and scratches. Only $10 bucks shipped on Ebay!

Also, I don't know if this is the case with other phones, but the car charger for this damn phone is $30 bucks at the local retailer outlets...insanely expensive for a charger. You can get chargers on Ebay for $8 bucks shipped all day.

Highly recommend this phone!

The good: suncom is cheap. the service picks up generally great around home.
The bad: not for the traveler.. unless you want to pay roaming charges..
Summary: great, cheap. it's only $150 to pay for four lines or service, unlimited anytime minutes, unlimited texting, and unlimited web usage. you also get 300 roaming minutes, which is very useful if you go on a vacation or are the average buisness traveler.

they also offer nation wide service that doesnot roam and picks up mostly everywhere.

customor service is great.
have had for about 6 years now and wouldnt switch.

cheap phones. and they work good too.
but, if something does go wrong with the phone, they ship it back to the manufactuar and they give you a replacement phone while your's is being fixed. all at no charge

its GREAT!! i would recomend it to anyone!!!
The good: Very good voice quality, nice internal design, easy to use to text and picture message, good price, unique design
The bad: Not so great external design, a little thicker than I would prefer
Summary: I purchased this phone yesterday and I'm overall happy with the phone so far. Of the few calls I've made, all have had very good voice quality and the sound system is great.I really like the internal design but the quality and size of the screen on the front isn't quite as good as in the inside. Also, the width of the phone is a little bulky. Compared to the other phones in this price range, this phone is very high quality and reasonably priced. Also, I thought compared to other phones this one had a very unique design and I was looking for a phone that wasn't "ordinary."
I would recommend this phone but make sure you're not looking for a really sleek and stylish phone.
The good: we have no problems with the phone Nokia. My husband has the black and he is a truck driver. uses it every where. He also has the blue tooth usees it all the time in the truck. But to me sometimes it can be nosey from his truck. I use mine all the time for to-do list. I have no cut out time on it I use the text too. We send pics all the time.
The bad: Some areas don't get a singnal as well if at all. Depends on how the clouds are.
Summary: When I have a Problem at all with aanything I call them and I have nice cust. service. Some of them are not up to date with the system. But I just ask for someone esle to help me. They have no problem doing so.
The good: good reception, and transmission.in my home area which is nown to be very bad
The bad: cost but whats new they are all the same
Summary: I am a long time customer and the main reason is service!...the phone works and I can receive calls.... customer service is good with experienced reps....price is fair...I will remain a customer untill something changes..I recommend centennial to my friends
The good: Good service and very affordable. valid for one year. 100 dollars gives 1000 minutes and can carry over to next year if charged before year ends for some value.
The bad: nothing that I know of
Summary: very good coverage. able to use in NJ and PA without any issue.
The good: Excellent service, can't remember the last dropped call that we (me or my wife) had. Good signal strength nearly everywhere I take the phone which is generally the northeastern Ill. area.
The bad: Limited phone selection, not enough "free" phones.
Summary: We have been customers for over 5 years and will not switch. We have no reason to. We can't find a better deal or better service anywhere else.
The good: Many features and all work great.
The bad: The 6101's keypad numbers tend to wear off.
Summary: I did buy another one and until I find a better phone I probably will again if needed.
The good: Exceptional clarity and signal quality. Great keypad and menu system. Slick black finish, 3G and Push to Talk capability with cingular
The bad: Cannot turn off start-up and shutdown sounds, Not enough background options for the LCD screen
Summary: If you're looking for a great phone to use for mostly voice calling, then you cannot beat the CU400. The buttons are large enough and have a great tactile feel. In the past 2 years, I've used about 5 different handsets, but none can compare to this phone for voice clarity and reception. I now get great signal in my home and office where before I would have to go outside to make sure I didnt drop the call. I read many other reviews on the clarity and I know what they are referring to now. The phone is also quite slim (not as slim as a Razr, but it fits better in the hand) and has a great simple look and feel. I even love that the front display is a simple non-color TFT display that always displays the time and date without using additional battery power. The interior screen is quite good and more than adequate.
The good: Affordable service
The bad: Rude to non-existent customer service
Summary: I have been a loyal and good customer of Cricket for many years. Their service is affordable, but beware of mailing payments! It takes approx. 10 days to credit your account with your payment, so mail chacks early! Also, be aware that new phones are very expensive and they do not offer rebates or incentives to current customers.
The good: Great reception clarity good volume...speaker excellent loud...great text message functions...carmera & music player average...sturdy well built...easy too use awesome display...
The bad: Nothing major other than average camera & music player...battery is so so...but acceptable...
Summary: Great buy good bang for the buck...very functional easy too use...better than what most people think...not for you if your big into camera & music player...awesome for voice voicemail and texting...for my use it's perfect...
The good: Great service in my area; customer service is excellent; reception is good
The bad: A little more $$ than other companies; some dropped calls; 1 or 2 year contracts, not much choice on free phones
Summary: I've been a Cellularone customer since 1998. I doubt I'll change. I might pay a little more than other companies around here, but I feel like the service availability Cell One provides in the more rural areas where I live makes it worth it. 2 year contracts bite, but I've found that I can simply buy a quadband unlocked phone on ebay for variety. Easy to understand plans/options. Overall, I'm very pleased given the options available in my area.
The good: ITS HOTTTTTT!!!!! its like on fire
The bad: there are no cons!!! its just that good
Summary: its an excellent phone. it doesnt have an mp3 but thats ok because there is no point if you have an ipod or w/e. besides most mp3 fones cant hold more than 20 songs. i love this phone and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a stylish phone.
The good: the least priced pre-paid cell phone around. also you can subscribe to a service plan with no contracts or credit checks!
The bad: coverage area. it's good for where i need it but you would think that you would have service in the martin, tennessee area where there is the university of tennessee at martin.
Summary: i think virgin mobile would be better if you could get service in martin tennessee.
