The good: easy touch access
incredible Gps
Live tv

The bad: There is nothing bad about this phone
Summary: The samsung Instinct is a way better phone than the iphone edge or 3g. The iphone does not have a great gps, mms, and no camcorder. Samsung instinct's rev A internet is a lot faster than iphone's.
The good: Layout is so easy, texting is so easy, phone is compact and attractive,
ringtones are loud and clear, wallpapers are clear and crisp, speakerphone is loud, camera has many fun frames and effects,
price is affordable, accepts internet, email, etc...

The bad: Camera images are not as sharp as the higher pixelated phones, and ocassionally (not always) when accessing celltop the phone will shut off and back on.
Summary: Great phone with lots of fun features for a reasonable price.
The good: No contract, No credit check, unlimited minutes, texting, etc. all day everyday. Always know what my monthly bill is going to be. Bridge payment, where you pay $20-$25 towards your bill to continue services through the end of the month.
The bad: Expensive phones. No incentives, rebates or discounts for existing long-time customers. There is no grace period for paying your phone bill. When that due date hits and you don't have that payment, it's off. There is no making payment arrangements. Phone customer services needs improvement to say the least.
Summary: I've been with Cricket for about 4 years. Have only had two phones - my son inherited my first one because his was stolen and I bought myself a new one. Very satisfied with just about everything Cricket. Right now, I don't think there's a better pre-paid wireless service anywhere.
The good: It is small, I like the styling, it is very easy to use
The bad: keyboard is too small, USB teather will not connect properly for downloads. batter life is very short, the veiwing screen is too small
Summary: I have had it a week but do not plan to keep it, I have been using a Palm 750, I am switching to a Blackberry Curve
The good: Small, decent battery life
The bad: No camera flash, not easy to open with 1 hand
Summary: Sept 2007 - Upgraded from the LG VX8300 - cracked the screen so the VX8350 was a natural step up. Camera pictures don't seem to be nearly as sharp as the VX8300 - dropped the flash (though the flash wasn't real helpful anyway). My first VX8350 had an obvious speakerphone defect - TERRIBLE echo and "feedback" but was promptly replaced on day 2 and have only had the problem 1 time since. Still have the external MP3 player controls which is VERY nice - some times I set off the MP3 player with phone in my pocket - even with the ringer off the music will play (same on my prior VX8300). Pretty much just like my VX8300 but a lot slimmer, stereo speakers on the back instead of the sides - this slimed the phone down a lot. Standard trans flash SD card - using a 2 GIG card for lots of MP3s and picture storage. With USB cable attached the computer can see the phone as a mass storage device. Camera is not nearly as easy to operate, you have to play around within the menu to switch from video to camera (on the VX8300 you could just tap the side camera button to switch between video and camera). Phone may seem a little basic but it's not nearly as basic as it looks. Keypad "dims" off instead of just turning off, nice touch. Probably my biggest complaint is that the speaker phone will only stay active for 1 call, then automatically turns off again, really annoying - if you forget to turn the speakerphone on before hitting send the speakerphone button does nothing until the call connects (which can take several seconds) after a software upgrade to my VX8300 the speaker phone number would instantly turn on speaker phone no matter what. LG dropped the battery conserving OLCD external screen, and also dropped the battery mAh from 1,200 to only 1,000 - so the battery does not last as long as the VX8300 - not sure why the made the battery weaker and the phone suck more juice. I simply charge the phone every night - usually I consume about 1/2 the battery on a standard day, before on my VX8300 after 2 years of ownership the battery would MAYBE drop to 3/4 bars after 1 day usage. The lower mAh battery is probably because of the slimmer design - the battery is smaller. None of my VX8300 accessories work on the VX8350 - you will have to buy all new spare batteries/chargers/USB Cables etc. Phone can now send longer video text messages, before I believe I was limited to 15 seconds - I can do 30 seconds now. I talk about 3,000 minutes a month. Just recently the phone told me it was over heating and to promptly turn off the phone and remove the battery (I had left it in my car in hot FL summer weather) I thought that was pretty neat. Great quality from LG as expected - would have liked to have seen a few more advances on this newer model - especially a better (or same) quality camera. I have lowered my screen / key light setting to try and conserve the battery a little more - so far I have not seen the need to buy a car charger or carry a spare battery.
The good: Everything is great i love the headphone jack, navagation is awsome, web is fast, navagating through the phone is easy. love the fully custumizeable favorites menu.voice recignition and hanworiteing recignition seem to be good. and box was packed with goodies.
The bad: The screen could be a little more responsive but good for the most part, wish it was more custumizeable. at first the features take some getting used to but thats with any new phone
Summary: Over all the instinct is a great phone. realy user friendly. and is perfect for the everyday media-holic. and with priceing below iphone its a steal. bottom line sprint hit a homerun with the instinct and so did i when i bought it
The good: Small, easy to text on, and very cheap
The bad: Could maybe be a little lighter Front keys are a little funky
Summary: All togther an awesome phone, I love this phone and it kicks the old Envs a$$ but still could be smaller but I think LG did awsome on this phone!!!
The good: Acess to email thru Yahoo, Google. MSN, AOL. Chatting thru Yahoo AOL, easy access to your own Helio web mail address. Dont have to call customer care (email them) Wap web browser from Helio, or HTML third party browser from Opera. Great for myspace, facebook, youtube, google, craigslist and more, round shape helps keep the device in your hands better than a square device. 3G web network, Great Individual plans/Family plans
The bad: Freezes if you enter into a new area than what your used to (will do it once and then be used to it), not many bluetooth profiles, speakerphone almost non hearable, if sprint stinks in your area this might not be so great, but itll still work.
Summary: Wow, a multi media power house meet business functionality. This M2D is not meant to be used primarily as a phone, but more of a media center for those who are on the road or for teens who are into posting pics and blogs :D or for business persons who do mostly texting or emailing. Having said that i love it! I can post a video to Youtube one minute and then surf the internet the next or check my bank account balance online, or check flights or what ever. I say that for those who dont like the Ocean, you used it for the wrong purpose. This is a completely functional device that is lots of fun! I hope u will find this review helpful
The good: GREAT coverage. Super fast DATA compaired to ATT. Great customer service. Cool new handsets
The bad: Not the cheapest but I guess you have to pay for what you get.
Summary: I've tried the others. When Verizon says something you know it is the truth.
The good: Great selection of phones. Very good customer service. Great selection of ringers and games.
The bad: Poor reception in my area, expensive plans.
Summary: I have been using Sprint since I got my first cell phone back in 2000, so I've been using it for 8 years! They've grown a long way and have gotten better, but sad to say, for all their potential, they still fall short of what I need and it's time to switch carriers.

The reason I am leaving, and my biggest complaint, is reception. It's terrible. At home I can barely get a signal. It's definitely gotten better over the years, but I have to pay for a home phone. To me, if I still need a home phone, then it defeats half the reason of having a cell phone! When I'm in another state, reception is perfect, but it's so spotty in Suffolk County that I never know where I will get a decent signal! Sometimes I have a good signal, but it still won't connect. It's frustrating. Dropped calls, waiting for texts to go through, and error messages while attempting to be load web pages are pretty common. I admit that Sprint used to be much worse. However, after 8 years, I think I've waited long enough. I'm tired of paying extra for a home phone and tired of having to check to make sure that all my texts have gone through (if it can't go through, it's automatically sent in the Draft folder and I've not checked once or twice and realized days later that a text I sent never went through. Ugh!). It's frustrating when I tell a friend to call me to give me informatation and get a notifaction that I have a message, but the phone never rang. The odd things is that the rare times that my friends and family on other plans haven't had a signal, I've been the only one to have one! That's pretty rare though. When they offered roaming for free, I was so happy. I figured now I could finally use my phone in places that everyone else could using the roaming, but unfortunately, it was a flop. Many times it will bounce back between Sprint service and roaming and I watch this while waiting to get a connection, and wait and wait and wait. If I do get a connection, it's spotty and quickly drops the calls. I used to have my phone set to beep when it switched between Sprint and roaming but had to shut it off as the damn phone would beep all day long!

Another frustrating thing is that Sprint boasts, or at least used to boast, about static-free calls and they were right! In all these years with Sprint, there have been echoes, but never static. Ever. Well, until now!! Several times in the past month or two when using my phone in various places I've gotten staticy connections. I checked to see if I was roaming and I wasn't! So much for static-free calls. It was the one thing that Sprint had above all other carriers, I believe. Oh well. Not anymore.

As for the plans, I think they are expensive compared to some other carriers, such as T-Mobile, which I just switched to. Not so much the basic minute plan, but the extras. It costs an additional $15/month for web access, which includes picture mail. However, oddly enough, it includes unlimited u
The good: I love the color, the email, and most of all the mp3
The bad: Hard to copy all of the files from the memory card.
Summary: I went from the Wing to the Blaskt and its a huge difference very basic but cool at the same time.
The good: Cheap, reliable, easy to use
The bad: Light on features for some people, but hey, if you want features go buy an iPhone or something.
Summary: I've had this phone for about 9 months now, and I've yet to have a single problem with it. I'm not the type of person who needs email access or customizable ringtones or anything, just a nice, reliable phone to make calls and send texts, which this little guy does extremely well. Interface is dead simple to learn, has plenty of memory available, even after I've downloaded a few ringtones for it. Screen is nice and bright, easy to see, and the keys are spaced close enough to be compact but not cumbersome or awkward. Battery life is decent on mine, usually lasting around 36-48 hours, depending on how much I use it. I have dropped it a couple times, but it's extremely durable thanks to it's simple design and lack of needless bells and whistles. I'm very glad I went with this phone, it has suited my needs perfectly!
The phone is cool just a lot of work in using it, once you get familar with it,it should be an oaky phone to use, Not being able to send pics to another mobile may be a problem for most, like me
The good: Text at $.05, good coverage, $.10 minute and rollover.
The bad: web browsing is a terrible, if you use more than 300 minutes a month and like the big guy extras
Summary: I love this phone. I have my grand central # forwarded to it and if I do not answer it does not charge me any time for that "call". The big boys all charge 1 minute for an unaswered call. Texts are only charged if you read them too!! I am a low user (only 150-300 minutes a month so this is much cheaper than my $40 with taxes plan on VZW. Love it....
The good: Since last firmware upgrade, browser rocks. You can scroll before page is fully loaded which makes browsing faster...new zoom in/out slider works instantly.

m.youtube.com allows you to see all youtube videos and comments

full qwerty keyboard

mobile tv
The bad: Email font could be darker
Summary: The Voyager is a multimedia wonder that will be in your hands all day!
The good: It's a phone, it lets you call people. It's thin, so it fits in my pocket easily. No flip or slide, so it's simpler and less likely to break. Decent battery life.
The bad: It doesn't wash my car?
Summary: I haven't had any problems with this phone, it just works. It is pretty solid, the only flaw I can find is that the anti-slip coating has rubbed off on the corners from being slid into my pocket. I also find it easy to talk with, unlike some phones that are difficult to hold to your ear. Alas, I still have to wash my car myself...
The good: Has withstood 2 years of drops and other physical abuse
The bad: Phone freezes, like a computer, and have to take battery out to restart
Summary: I wouldn't get this phone if you need reliability. I use the phone as my home phone and cell phone (no land line) and it has been frozen during an emergency.... had to pull the battery out, wait 30 seconds, put back in, and restart before I could make my call. Happens on a regular basis, but noticeably more often during humid or warm weather.
The good: Great rates, service plan flexibility, well-trained CSR's.
The bad: None that other providers don't experience.
Summary: I've read through most of these SunCom reviews and something that a lot of you need to understand.. is that the problems you're experiencing are common accross the country. SO much goes into cell phone technology that 100% dependability is impossible. The folks at SunCom DO stand behind their service and their promises. Dropped calls, for example is when you switch from your home network to a roaming network. IT HAPPENS WITH EVERY PROVIDER! There is no way to maintain a call when it switches over to a forien network. Oh, and ALL cell phone towers use "line-of-sight". So trees, buildings, mountains, etc. interfear with calls on every network. Advice to you: when you sign up for cell phone service go to their website, look at the coverage maps. If you live Waaaaayyy out in the country with no coverage area... get a landline! You'll know what to expect. Don't blame the company for your oen poor research! I can say that I've heard that SunCom is adding 300+ towers in southern South Carolina alone in the next 6 months. After the T-Mobile merger, all current SunCom customers will KEEP THEIR UNPLANS... How can you beat this? T-Mobile will expand the power of the network, while existing SunCom customers will be able to take advantage of the new technology at the same old (cheap) pricing!

Bottom line.. these problems listed in this forum are things you'll experience with any provider. It just gets blown out of proportion when it happens to YOU.. then you tend to say that it must be YOUR provider, only. That is NOT the case. Switch to another service.. and come back here and tell us how bad they are... ok?
The good: Some but not any to brag about
The bad: qwerty buttons tiny, freezes often, and very limited bluetooth!
Summary: Don't be fooled by the hype that the ocean has around it its a mediocre phone and if your considering it you would be better off getting the instinct or something. With bluetooth you cant send or receive files only use headsets.
The good: Slide feature and it takes really good pictures for a cell phone.
The bad: Turns off in the middle of a call, freezes constantly, and MAJOR display problems. Many times I will press a key to check the time and the display will be upside down, black, distorted, and/or completely gone (white).
Summary: I purchased this phone in Jan. '08 and by Feb. I was having so many problems with it that I took it back and Alltel gave me a brand new one. The new one continued to have the same problems as my first one, just not as often. I will slide the phone up and it will shut off or show a black screen with the Motorola icon. Sometimes I can shut it off and turn it back on and it will be fine. Other times I have to take the battery out before it will work again. Last night the display completely quit working. When I tried to use it the display was white and absolutely nothing shows up. I've turned it off and on to see if it would work but it didn't. I can make calls on it but I can't see anything!!! I'm going to Alltel today to see about getting a replacement or it repaired. If they give me another one it will be my THIRD phone and I've only had this type of phone since Jan. (5 months)!!!!
