Remember early in December when specs for HTC’s new Hima flagship leaked? Well today a new leak has surfaced that claims to back that original report up.
Leaker @upleaks today posted an image that purportedly shows the results of an AnTuTu benchmark test for the HTC Hima. According to the test, the Hima boasts a 5-inch 1920x1080 display, Snapdragon 810 processor, Adreno 430 processor, and 3GB of RAM. That Hima’s also said to got a 20.7-megapixel camera on its rear and a 13-megapixel shooter on its face.
It’s also worth noting that the device’s model number is “HTC6535LVW,” which suggests that the Hima that was tested was a Verizon model. To compare, the HTC One (M8) for Verizon is the HTC6525LVW, the HTC One max is the HTC6600LVW and the HTC One (M7) is HTC6500LVW. A Verizon version of the HTC Hima wouldn’t be at all surprising for several reasons, but hey, it’s still nice to get “confirmation” that that version is in the works.
I always caution that benchmark tests of unreleased devices should be taken with a grain of salt, and this one is no different. This AnTuTu leak does seem to add credibility to the previous HTC Hima rumors, though, and there’s nothing in this spec sheet that’s outside the realm of possibility for a 2015 flagship Android phone from HTC.
