Motorola launched the original Moto G in late 2013 without any LTE connectivity, but then we saw an LTE-equipped model arrive in mid-2014. Now it looks like we could see the same thing with the Moto G (2nd Gen.).

Motorola’s Brazilian website includes a special section for the Moto G (2nd Gen.), and in the specs section there’s a mention of LTE band 7 support. There’s also a mention of “LTE” in the Battery section that says that the LTE model comes with a 2390mAh battery, which is larger than the original Moto G (2nd Gen.)’s 2070mAh juice pack.

We haven’t heard any rumblings from Motorola about an LTE-toting version of the Moto G (2nd Gen.), but considering both the launch of the original Moto G with 4G LTE and these references on Motorola’s Brazilian site, it certainly looks like such a device is on the way. Now we just have to wait for an official announcement to see where the thing will launch and how much it’ll cost when it does.
