Even though many smartphone manufacturers are abandoning major industry events like CES to make announcements at their own events, we’re still guaranteed to see at lest some new smartphones next week. Today Qualcomm teased one of them.
Qualcomm today took to social media to tease that a new smartphone that’ll include a Snapdragon 800 processor will make its debut at CES next week. The chip maker also included a teaser image of the device.
So what might Qualcomm be hinting at? Well, we appear to be looking at the back of a phone in this teaser image, and it looks like the device might have a rear-mounted power button like the ones that we’ve seen on LG phones like the G3 and G Flex. So perhaps we’ll see a collaboration from Qualcomm and the Life’s Good Crew in Las Vegas? It’s possible.
PhoneDog will have a team on the ground at CES in Las Vegas next week, so keep it locked to the site for information on Qualcomm’s new device as well as all of the other mobile goodies.
