Dropped calls

Posted on: October 31st, 2006 by Richard Soule

The good: Rollover minutesThe bad: Dropped calls.Summary: I see TV commercials about the least dropped calls from Cingular. So far, I haven't been so lucky. I find that my calls are dropped more frequently than when I was with T-Mobile. I made the switch in December 2005. I figured that I would be happier with all of the neat benefits that Cingular has to offer. I had to sign a two year contract. I now with that I would have stayed with T-Mobile. I have had nothing but trouble, dropped calls (ALL THE TIME) with Cingular. As soon as this contract is up, I plan to move forward and DROP Cingular. I am an unhappy customer.

No Dropped Calls

Posted on: October 30th, 2006 by Anonymous

The good: Excellent signal strength, good rates and nice phone selectionThe bad: In store sales clerks are unhelpful and will try to sell you shady dealsSummary: The only problem ive ever had with Cingular over the years, is the few times i've visited the in store locations. Usually after a visit id leave more confused and with less money than when i went in, but the service numbers have excellent service and they give you the straight facts without tryign to sell you extra service. Apart form the service thouhg ive always had good signal strength even in the more remote areas.

Cingular Go Wireless Review

Posted on: October 25th, 2006 by Linda Salley

The good: Cingular has been very good about correcting any problems. Very good when we had a phone that quit working and then the replacement quit. Gave free overnight shipping. We have 4 phones and I appreciate the way the bill is broken down. After using a local service for about 8 years it is nice to not have surprise charges on the bill like the local service had.The bad: There are some areas where your calls will always drop.Summary: We will definitely stay with Cingular. They have have been prompt to respond when there is any problem. I also like being able to check and pay my bill online.

Cingular , good phone service

Posted on: October 21st, 2006 by Anonymous

The good: Two seperate phones and numbers, 250 rollover minutes, no roaming or long distance chargesThe bad: About $10.00 a month in taxesSummary: After having Cincinnati Bell Wireless for several years, which we could not use from our home, we found out that Cingular Wireless had activated a tower near our home. We switched to Cingular and now can take full advantage of the free long distance calling, our son and his family live out of town.

Service is not good indoors at home but great otherwise

Posted on: October 20th, 2006 by Anonymous

The good: customer service, calling plans, featuresThe bad: no signals indoors, failed calls, uses your minutes to check your voice mailSummary: Cingular provides great service to everyone, they are wonderful with helping you when you need it. On the other hand the services bites because I cannot get a signal or make phone calls or recieve them inside of my house, and i've had quite a few calls fail.

cingular

Posted on: October 20th, 2006 by Christine Yamashita

The good: moble to moble, many cingular uses, The bad: bad service, bad deals on phones usually, doesn't have all the phones other companys doSummary: I say Cingular is a good company to go for since many people use it, which makes moble to moble worth it. I get a lot of dropped calls though and my reception isnt always good (i dont know if its the phone or the service though, but i have used different phones and its the same)

cingular cell service

Posted on: October 20th, 2006 by Anonymous

The good: free long distance, no roaming charges, 250 rollever minutes a month, very good coverage,49.95 permonth for two phonesThe bad: about $10.00 per month in various taxesSummary: My wife and I have had cell phones a long time, starting with Ameritec. We swtched to Cincinnati Bell wireless six or eight years ago, we thought it was very good but there was no coverage in the new area we moved to. We found out that a cell tower that we could see from our home was recently turned on to Cingular, so we switched. We have been very pleased with Cingular service.
