Hours after some renders surfaced that gave us a clear look at the Pixel 5 design, another leak has arrived that sheds light on some of the specs of Google's next flagship.
The Pixel 5 will have a 6-inch OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, according to a report from Android Central. To compare, last year's Pixel 4 features a 5.7-inch OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
Around back, the Pixel 5 is said to feature a dual camera setup that includes a standard cam and an ultra-wide camera rather than a telephoto sensor like on the Pixel 4.
Inside of the Pixel 5 is expected to be a Snapdragon 765G processor, which means 5G support would be included, as well as 8GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. The aforementioned renders show that the Pixel 5 will bring back the rear fingerprint reader.
Finally, it's said that the Pixel 5 will feature both 15W wireless charging support as well as 5W reverse charging. There's no word yet on how large the Pixel 5's battery will be, but today's report says that it will be "considerably larger" than the 2800mAh battery in the Pixel 4. Some rumors have claimed that the Pixel 5 will have a 3080mAh battery, but today's report says that that's not accurate.
Google has already confirmed the existence of the Pixel 5 and told us that it'll launch this fall. The price of the Pixel 5 has not been confirmed yet, but Google did say that the Pixel 4a 5G will cost $499 when it arrives this fall. Considering that and these rumored specs of the Pixel 5, we could see the Pixel 5 coming in at a price of $599.
