It looks like Motorola may have another foldable flip phone coming soon.
Motorola today announced an event for September 9, and the company teases that it's "getting ready to flip the smartphone experience once again." A GIF shared by Droid-Life for the event appears to show a flip phone closing shut.
We'll have to wait a few weeks to find out what Motorola has in store, but it could be a new version of its Razr foldable phone. We've heard rumblings that a new foldable Razr is in the works, and it even appeared in a leaked photo that surfaced last month.
Rumors say that the new Razr could feature 48MP main and 20MP selfie cameras, which would be improved from the current Razr's 16MP and 5MP snappers. Also rumored to be included is a Snapdragon 765, 256GB of built-in storage, 8GB of RAM, and a 2845mAh battery, all of which would be upgrades from the current Razr.
It's also been said that the new Razr will have a 6.2-inch main display, the same size as the existing Razr, and that it will add 5G connectivity.
