Today was the Stadia Connect event that Google teased last month, and it brought with it announcements for several high-profile games that are coming soon to Stadia.
Google confirmed today that Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is coming to Stadia in the fall. This action game received a lot of praise when it launched on the PS4 and Xbox One last year, and now Stadia players will get to try its intense combat later this year.
Also announced for Stadia are the new Hitman games. These stealth titles have you playing as Agent 47 and task you with assassinating certain characters without getting caught. Hitman and Hitman 2 are launching on Stadia in September, and the first game will be free for Stadia Pro subscribers. The new title, Hitman 3, will arrive on Stadia in January 2021.
Google revealed today that Stadia is getting some major sports titles this year, including PGA Tour 2K21, NBA 2K21, and WWE 2K Battlegrounds. Also coming is the action shooter Serious Sam 4, Dead by Daylight, and Super Bomberman R Online, which will include a mode that'll let you play with 64 people at once. Outriders is coming to Stadia, too, with a release planned for 2021.
One Hand Clapping is a new title that you can play on Stadia in early access right now, and Orcs Must Die! 3 is a tower defense title that's available now free for Stadia Pro subscribers. Google confirmed that it's getting the game Hello Neighbor and its prequel Hello Neighbor: Hide & Seek this holiday season, with Hide & Seek available free for Stadia Pro players at launch.
Finally, Google Stadia is launching its new Click to Play feature. Stadia Pro subscribers can just click a link to begin playing a game right away, like when they're watching a streamer play a title and they want to try it themselves. You can use Click to Play with games like Orcs Must Die! 3, The Elder Scrolls Online, and One Hand Clapping.
So there's a preview of some of the big titles coming to Google Stadia soon. Do these announcements have you interested in Google's gaming service?
