It's been a while since we've heard about a new smartphone from HTC, but that looks like it'll finally be changing soon.
HTC is now teasing an announcement for June 16, posting "Save the Date" images to its Taiwanese Facebook and Instagram profiles. The company hasn't shared any other news on what it's planning to announce, but there are a few other details we can glean from the teaser image.
The front of the device appears to have a hole-punch selfie camera in its upper left corner. Meanwhile, the back looks to have a long, pill-shaped camera bump with a second bump inside of it and multiple camera sensors.
We'll have to wait until next week before we learn the identity of this mystery HTC device, but rumors say it could be the HTC Desire 20 Pro. Noted HTC leaker LlabTooFeR recently said that a device called the "HTC Desire 20 Pro" was in the works with a design that's similar to the OnePlus 8 in the front and Xiaomi Mi 10 in the back, which lines up with the device in this teaser image.
Meanwhile, spec details for the HTC Desire 20 Pro appear to have been leaked by the Google Play Console's Device Catalog (via XDA-Developers). The phone is expected to include a Snapdragon 665 processor, 6GB of RAM, Android 10, and a display resolution of 2340x1080.
