We recently heard from some Pixel Buds owners who have been experiencing audio cutouts with Google's new truly wireless earbuds, and now Google has acknowledged the issues.
A Google employee has confirmed that new software updates will roll out in the coming weeks to improve Bluetooth stability and connectivity on the new Pixel Buds (via 9to5Google). "Thank you for providing your feedback, both on this thread and in feedback reports," the Googler said. "Our team has found it beyond helpful while investigating and working on improving these connectivity issues."
In the weeks after the launch of the Pixel Buds, many owners reported Bluetooth connection issues. Some folks say that their audio will cut out when they cover either ear with a hand, while others report audio cutouts when they move their head too much or tilt their head away from the phone in their pocket.
While these issues don't appear to be affecting every single pair of Pixel Buds out there, the problems do seem pretty widespread based on the number of reports we've seen across the internet lately. We're glad to see Google acknowledge the problems and pledge to push out a fix.
