T-Mobile customers, you can now get 5G in every state in the US.
Today T-Mo revealed that it's struck a deal with GCI to allow its customers to roam on to GCI's 5G network in Anchorage, AK. This news means that T-Mobile customers can now get 5G coverage in all 50 states, a feat that T-Mo touts it's the first to achieve.
GCI customers are benefiting from this roaming agreement, too, because they can now roam onto T-Mobile's 5G network that covers nearly 6,000 cities and towns.
GCI's 5G network is still fairly new, having launched in Anchorage on April 17. GCI plans to expand to Juneau, Fairbanks, and other places with fiber networking in the future. If you're a T-Mobile customer with a 5G device who's planning to visit Anchorage soon, you can check out GCI's coverage map to see exactly where you'll be able to roam on their 5G network.
