LG has revealed quite a bit of its upcoming Velvet phone ahead of the phone's event on May 7, but one thing that we haven't gotten yet are hands-on photos of the device. That's changing today.
A few photos that appear to show the LG Velvet in its Aurura White and Aurora Gray colors. The images apparently originated on Facebook and were shared on Twitter by Boby25846908, who also posted photos of the LG Velvet's Dual Screen case recently.
These photos show the LG Velvet's Raindrop camera, which includes a main 48MP camera protruding from the back as well as 8MP ultra wide and 5MP depth cameras that sit under the glass. A label on the back of the Velvet confirms that its model number is LM-G900N.
Around front we can see the front camera that sits in a waterdrop notch, but unfortunately the screen isn't turned on.
Finally, there's also a photo of the LG Velvet with its back cover removed, showing its insides. In there is the phone's 4300mAh battery and some wireless charging coils.
LG has said that it'll officially reveal the Velvet on May 7 ahead of its launch on May 15, but the company has gone ahead and spilled lots of info about the device before then. In addition to the specs mentioned above, we know that the Velvet will also have a 6.8-inch display with 20.5:9 aspect ratio and Snapdragon 765 processor.
