Did you know Walmart sells its own Android tablets? They're made under the Onn brand, and soon two new models are going to launch.
Walmart is prepping new 8-inch and 10.1-inch "Tablet Pro" models for its Onn brand. The models were discovered by Tabletmonkeys, and while they're both live on Walmart's website, neither model is actually available for purchase yet.
Both of the new Onn tablets are said to have 2.0GHz MediaTek MT8768WA processors, 5MP front and rear cameras, and 32GB of built-in storage with microSD card slots if you need more storage. They're also both powered by Android 10 and are able to get 10 hours of battery life on a single charge.
The bigger model features a 10.1-inch FHD LCD screen and 3GB of RAM while the smaller tablet has an 8-inch HD LCD display and 2GB of RAM.
Finally, Walmart says that the 10.1-inch Onn Tablet Pro will cost $129 while the 8-inch version will be $99.
Neither of these Onn tablets is going to blow you away with its specs and design, but they could be respectable devices if you just want something cheap for browsing the web or as a tablet to give to a child. Especially now, with many people sheltering at home and lots of kids doing their schoolwork virtually, affordable tablets like these could be attractive to some folks.
