The RedMagic 5G is a new gaming phone with the world's first 144Hz display. That screen is a 6.65-inch AMOLED panel that also includes an in-display fingerprint sensor and 240Hz touch sampling.
As you might expect from a high-end gaming phone, the RedMagic 5G includes a Snapdragon 865 processor as well as up to 12GB of speedy LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage, which is 83% faster than the previous generation. There's a 4500mAh battery powering the RedMagic 5G, and while an 18W charger is included in the box, you'll be able to buy a 55W charger separately to get you powered up and gaming more quickly.
Another highlight feature of the RedMagic 5G is its built-in shoulder trigger buttons with 300Hz touch refresh rate and 2ms touch delay to better emulate gaming with a controller. There's also a new Active Liquid-Cooling with Turbo Fan 3.0 setup with 30% better air flow volume, and this helps to make the RedMagic 5G up to 200% cooler than previous RedMagic phones.
Rounding out the RedMagic 5G's spec list are dual stereo speakers; a triple rear camera setup with a 64MP main camera with Sony IMX686 sensor, 8MP ultra wide cam, and 2MP macro camera; and a 12MP selfie cam. And to help ensure that the RedMagic 5G has gamer cred, it's got a customizable RGB light on the back.
